Where to Paraglide in Annecy?

In Annecy, several paragliding sites offer extraordinary experiences. Here are some of the most popular sites for paragliding:

Col de la Forclaz

Col de la Forclaz is one of the most renowned paragliding sites in Annecy. Located about twenty minutes from downtown, it offers a stunning view over the lake and mountains. It's a popular launch site for tandem flights, offering ideal conditions for a memorable experience.

Planfait

Talloires

Talloires, with its unique panorama over the lake, is also a popular launch site for paragliding flights. Local paragliding schools often use this site to offer memorable flight experiences. In fact, Talloires (or more precisely Perroix) is the landing zone for the Planfait launch.

The Les Grands Espaces "extras"

Unlike most other tandem operators, who only fly from Col de la Forclaz-Montmin and land at Doussard, we'll go wherever conditions are best for you, since we can take off from both the Planfait and La Forclaz sites. We've written dedicated pages presenting our flying sites.Also, when conditions are settled and we choose to take off from La Forclaz, we try to make it back to base, meaning the Talloires landing zone. To do that, we need to gain altitude, which makes the flight more interesting for you (and for us!) than a simple glide down to the Doussard landing zone.
